Updated version wont complete update?

Ive used Howler for some time and Ive never had any issues with the program. As a timer it works great and I use it often. But, this most recent update I downloaded continues to say that it is installed but still shows as a current update. It is highlighted on my taskbar and wont clear itself out of my update area. As far as I know the update has been installed (the format was slightly upgraded and as said before it says "installed" in the update list) - it just wont go away.
Am I missing something? I wish this update notification would go away.
