The app is good in terms of functionality. But it crashes regularly. This is very annoying when you are in the middle of something and need to rely on the timers.

It does what it should. The idea why the crow sound ist very nice. BUT WHY are the soundsamples SO BAD??? – I cannot pay for the upgrade because the noise in the soundsamples gives me the shivers… beside the howling of course :)

I was looking for a simple, free, timer I could use on my Mac for various purposes (cooking, tea, etc.), and Howler fits that purpose perfectly. Set your specific hour/minute/second countdown and hit "Start", and youre set. Its not flashy, it doesnt have loads of superflous features that bog you down, it just does its job. If thats what youre looking for, check it out.

Can anyone update to this version? I get error message "Type mismatch"

Even following the delete and reinstall it does not update and cannot get rid of it permanently. STAY AWAY from this App.

it wont update. should have read other comments before trying about 10 times to update it (to no avail).

-open more than one timer; -doesnt convert temperature; -doesnt convert any weights and volumes; at the end I dont need this scrapt ! Ill keep it just to be abble to make my negative post each time they take it off….because APPLE doent like negatives critics…so sometime they reset them… !!!

Why dont you add a pomodoro mode inside the app? It is good overall, but will be better if there is a pomodoro preset saved inside.

I wanted a SIMPLE TIMER to count how much time passed. Looking from description this app could do that. But in fact it can’t be used this way at all. awful sound and no actual counting

Dont get taken by other apps (e.g. Breaktime for $4.99). Im sure others work great, but hey, this is a countdown timer. How complicated can it get? But what other app howls at the moon when time is up? The pro version is .99 and I might just buy it to say thanks for a cool app! Had no problem installing or upgrading app. Worked first time, every time. Reproduction <--- I just had to work in some "overtly sexual language" into this review to make Apple censors mad.

Almost brainless to use. Its a timer. You can customize the alarm sound. Supports hourly, minute, and second alarm times.

This states that it does more than it does in the free app. In order to get more, you have to BUY. Please dont lie that way. I downloaded it and deleted it 10 seconds later. Very disappointed.

I cannot say enough about this app. It does what its supposed to, and has some useful surprises, as in a temperature, volume and weight converter. Love it!
